About Simone

Simone Eisold earned her design degree at the School of Design of Pforzheim University, Germany, and resides in a beautiful historic home in Rock Tavern. Simone has been living and breathing Design for over 25 years and is a veteran of the high-end apparel community. She has worked for Ermenegildo Zegna, Hugo Boss, Canali, Robert Talbott, and Hickey Freeman prior to establishing Simone Eisold Design. Her studio primarily focuses on Interior Residential Projects, with a developing portfolio of reimagining and staging homes and spaces.

Simone’s innate sense of style and proportion emphasized the best features of my home and added positive energy and excitement to problem areas. Besides being a very nice person, she is a total artist.
— Debra Refson, Client, Greenwich, CT.

While I’ve never had much of a sense of style, Simone was able to style our home in a way that was so simple yet so beautiful. She helped to declutter and reorganize the pieces we already had. She then brought in a few of her own gorgeous pieces and made it all flow seamlessly. Our house sold a lot faster than I expected and I have no doubt it is because of Simone’s golden touch!
— Lilli Weisz, Client, Nyack, NY

Simone can make anything look beautiful, yet effortless, as well as comfortable and functional. But what makes her an exceptional designer is her ability to listen to her clients’ needs and goals for their home and space, and then accurately plan and organize to make it a reality.
— K. Blank, Client, New Paltz, NY.

Art Exhibitions & Events Bull Farm 1856

Bull Farm, a 19th century stone farm house completed in 1856, is a home and a space to celebrate art, music, and culinary experiences for Simone and her partner, Mark. Together, they have hosted various group exhibitions showcasing artists of different backgrounds, exploring a variety of subjects including a benefit exhibition, Spring in Wartime 2022, featuring 30+ artists to raise funds for Ukrainian artists affected by the ongoing war. For the last two years, their summer exhibitions, featured in the Upstate Art Weekend, center how artists use or respond to nature: Mother Earth: Nature, Nurture, and Fertility 2022, Convergence 2022, Embracing Nature 2024.

Recently, the couple opened their home to Chef Nicholas Leiss, who trained in renowned Michelin restaurants such as NOMA before developing his own farm-to-table dinner concept. His Farm2ChefsTable dinners present seasonal produce in unexpected and exquisite pairings and celebrate the art of food and wine through a series of events that span different harvest seasons within the Hudson Valley.
